2022 Summer Strategic Planning Meeting

The CURENT 2022 Summer Strategic Planning Meeting will be held on Thursday, July 21st in Denver, Colorado at the Homewood Suites by Hilton. The event will start with lunch from 12 noon to 1pm (GMT) and the meeting will be held from 1pm to 4pm. During the meeting, faculty and industry will plan and map out center goals, recruitment efforts and sustainability plans.

2021 Summer Strategic Planning Meeting

The 2021 Summer Strategic Planning Meeting will be held virtually via WebEx on Thursday, August 19th from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm ET. Dr. Kevin Tomsovic will lead a discussion on Center sustainability, pressing needs and post-graduation structure followed by faculty led discussions on future research directions with industry input requested. All industry members are invited to participate.

CURENT's 2020 Summer Strategic Planning Meeting

The Summer Strategic Planning Meeting will be held virtually via WebEx on Wednesday, Aug. 12th from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm ET. Led by Dr. Kevin Tomsovic, faculty will present reviews of the most recent Thrust and Testbed work and discuss Year 10 proposed work. Each Thrust/Testbed is scheduled for a 5-10 minute presentation followed by a 5 minute Q&A.  All industry members are invited to participate.

CURENT's 2020 Spring Strategic Planning Meeting

The Spring Strategic Planning Meeting was scheduled into two Web Conference Sessions on Monday, May 4 and Friday, May 8 from 11 am - 2 pm ET on both days. The agenda was a series of presentations and discussions led by industry members and included a Q & A. Each session lasted 30 minutes during which members and faculty discussed the near-term and longer-term issues their organizations are facing and how CURENT may be able to help. All industry members were invited to ask questions.

2019 Summer Strategic Planning Meeting

The CURENT 2019 Summer Strategic Planning Meeting was held on Thursday and Friday, August 8th and 9th in Atlanta, GA. The meeting was Thursday afternoon and Friday morning. During the meeting, faculty and industry planned and mapped out center goals, recruitment efforts and sustainability plans. This meeting also included the student perfect pitch competition. The event was held at the Atlanta Marriot Marquis, 265 Peachtree Center NE, Atlanta, GA 30303, USA.
