Erin is responsible for coordinating summer program events and assisting in curriculum development of CURENT’s educational outreach programs. Erin earned a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University in 2007 and has worked in the chemical industry as a process and automation engineer for approximately five years with Eastman Chemical Company, BASF Corporation, and Innovative Controls, Incorporated. Erin has also completed his Master’s in Education at the University of Tennessee and has interests in studying engineering education.
In his free time, Erin enjoys learning about the FIRST Robotics competition and is currently a mentor-in-training with a local team.
Erin’s other hobbies include repairing bicycles, reading non-fiction, and watching classic films.
