Two CURENT students were selected by faculty to receive the 2026 Handong Gui Outstanding Graduate Research Assistant Awards. Fazard Notash, advised by Dr. JiangBiao He, received the award in power electronics. Vince Wilson, advised by Dr. Fran Li, received the award in power systems. They were recognized at a luncheon hosted by CURENT faculty on May 13 when other students were recognized for their leadership and support during the 2026 Industry Conference.
