While visiting Santiago, Chile in June to attend the 5th International SGSMA Conference, Dr. Liu (UTK professor), Vikas Singhvi (EPRI), and Lin Zhu (EPRI) met with colleagues at ISO Chile to discuss possible research collaborations. Dr. Ricardo Alvarez, a professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Universidad Tecnica Federico Santa Maria in Santiago, Chile, arranged the meeting.
Dr. Liu serves on the SGSMA executive committee.
