On Friday, February 27, 2026, CURENT Deputy Director Dr. Yilu Liu gave a presentation to the HPE AI Connect Knowledge Discovery Industry Interest Group. Dr. Liu’s talk was the first in a bi-weekly series on the foundations, algorithms, and applications of intelligent, accurate, efficient, and secure knowledge discovery across a wide range of industries. These industries include energy, security, marketing, supply chain, manufacturing, sales, finance, healthcare, and software. Dr. Liu discussed the applications of artificial intelligence and machine learning in power systems and the energy domain.
