On September 17, CURENT students attended the fall 2025 on-site laboratory safety training session. The session was led by Leon Tolbert, CURENT Professor, with input from Bob Martin, Infrastructure Manager, and other faculty members who serve as advisors for students in their respective research groups.
The session focused on procedural expectations in the laboratory that result in maximum safety outcomes. NFPA 70E Standards for Safety in the Workplace were reviewed including examples of practical application in the three labs managed by CURENT.
