On Wednesday, October 1, more than 40 UT undergraduate Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) majors attended an open house hosted by CURENT faculty. Professor Fran Li provided an overview of the program, including research and funding opportunities. Faculty shared their individual research interests. CURENT students led tours and provided demonstrations in the FNET, LTB and HTB testbed labs. In fall 2025, CURENT’s ten faculty members serve as advisors to over 70 PhD and master-level graduate students, undergraduates, and post-doc scholars who conduct research in the areas of industry-related power systems and power electronics.
