CURENT’s 9th Annual Industry Conference and NSF/DOE Site Visit was held Nov. 6-10. The Industry Conference was Friday, Nov. 6 and the Site Visit was Monday and Tuesday, Nov. 9-10. The visit was held virtually. 

Industry Conference

The Industry Conference was from 10:30 to 17:30 on Friday, Nov. 6 and featured several speakers from the power and energy field: 

  • Dr. Danielle Merfeld, VP and CTO, GE Renewable Energy
  • Mr. Patrick Panciatici, Scientific Advisor, Réseau de Transport d’ Electricité (RTE)
  • Dr. Wendy Zhang, Supervisor of Transmission Planning, PG&E
  • Dr. Val Miftakhov, Founder & CEO, ZeroAvia
  • Dr. Isik Kizilyalli, Program Director, ARPA-E
