Two CURENT students were selected by faculty to receive the 2025 Handong Gui Outstanding Graduate Student Researcher Awards. Ziwei Liang, advised by Dr. Kevin Bai, received the award in power electronics. Kaiyang Huang, advised by Dr. Kai Sun, received the award in power systems. The students were recognized at a luncheon on May 19 where other leadership and service awards were presented to students.
