Graduate Research Funding Opportunies

Overview

There are typically numerous, funded, research opportunities available at CURENT. Graduate Teach Assistant (GTA) positions are offered through the campuses of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (UTK); Northeastern University (NEU); Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI); and Tuskegee University (TU), but CURENT offers additional Graduate Reasearch Assistantships (GRAs) for students who will perform research alone. GTAs generally provide course support as well as reasearch support.

In addition to the CURENT GRA positions, each faculty member also has resources available through additional funding sources such as research grants, company sponsorships, private donations, and etc.
